Project Info

This was an interesting project to say the least. The powder room floor was a beautiful piece of marble with dots of Mother of Pearl overlaid on every third tile. The powder room and laundry room floor had to be raised to the height of the hardwood installed throughout the main areas and was expected to be perfect smooth surfaces. The pattern in the laundry room was unusual, but attractive when completed.

Modern Group’s clients demanded perfection, so they used the best setting materials that included Schluter Systems and Ardex Self-Leveling Underlayments.

The install was meticulous but rewarding. I really had to pay attention to the patterns, but once I got underway, it went pretty smooth.
